You can record everything from your mortgage and taxes to life insurance premiums and RRSP/investment savings. This is part of Stage 1) Evaluation of your current situation in the Continuum II financial planning process.

Financial Planning Checklist  --  In order to provide a meaningful analysis of your current financial situation the documents outlined should be on hand when you next meet with your advisor.  (All items listed may not pertain to your individual situation)

Life Insurance Needs Worksheet -- Use this worksheet as a quick reference to your personal and family needs for life Insurance. This would fall under stage 2) Analysis and Research of the Continuum II financial planning process.

Personal Records Organizer -- Your personal records organizer helps you organize, in one handy location, important information about your personal financial affairs. This is a great tool when starting your personal financial plan.

Regarding Financial Independence -- Do you know if your resources exceed your lifetime needs? Or would you be happy if you were able continue to grow wealth at your current rate? Use this worksheet to map out your current and desired situation. As part of Stage 1) Evaluation of your current situation in the Continuum II financial planning process, this is where we get to know you better. To have a meaningful financial plan, it is imperative that we know who you are, including your goals, values and needs.

Top 10 RRSP Tips --  It seems that every year thousands of Canadians rush to make a last minute Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) contribution before the inevitable deadline. If this sounds like you, how do you know the decisions you are making are right for your financial future?  It's important to remember that an RRSP should be individualized and must fit well with your own personal financial goals and plan.

What is financial planning  --  A good financial plan incorporates five broad strategies: Liquidity, Estate, Disability, Retirement, and Integrated Wealth Planning.  This document will help you to understand each of these terms.
