Prevention
Prevention is the first pillar of C2 Private Health and includes several tools to help ensure that our members continue to live healthy, uninterrupted lives.
The bundle of products available under this pillar allow members to proactively manage their health and wellness, as well as identifying opportunities to enhance wellbeing and general health, and, most importantly identifying concerns early.
Diagnostic
In the event of a health concern or investigation, delays, wait lists, and other obstacles are not an option. The Second Pillar of C2 Private Health provides members with expedited Diagnostic Imaging Services and Expert Medical Services to quickly address medical questions and concerns.
Members can receive MRI or CT scans within days rather than weeks or months and access Global Medical Expert Services to better understand diagnoses, treatment plans, or conditions.
When a health concern arises, the Second Pillar steps in where Assessment Clinics transition out, preventing members from returning to the public system.
This suite of services gives C2 Private Health members the clarity, confidence, and answers they need—whether expediting tests or seeking expert guidance on diagnoses, treatments, or other health concerns.

C2 Private Health Diagnostic provides a range of services to help you:

This unique protection offers access to the finest doctors, specialists, and medical facilities in the world. Up to $1,000,000 per year, after a $5,000 deductible, and provides:
- Immediate access to the best medical care (leading hospitals, cutting edge treatments and drugs, and top physicians) anywhere in the world.
- Budget for Travel Expenses when receiving medical treatment more than 320 km from home, to pay for transportation to and from point of service and accommodations while receiving treatment.
- $500,000 maximum for members over age 70

Private Care
Members receive up to $1,000,000 to receive care at a private clinic outside of Canada. Members can select from world-renowned centers of excellence outside of Canada including the Mayo Clinic, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Cedars-Sinai, Stanford Hospital, The Cleveland Clinic and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Travel budget is included.
Executive Travel Coverage
Most group travel insurance programs void coverage when travel is for medical reasons and often include restrictive exclusions for pre-existing conditions and other limitations. To reduce these risks for members who leave Canada for medical treatment, we have partnered with ORION, the corporate division of CAA Travel, to provide one of the most comprehensive travel insurance benefits available. While the Best Doctors program continues to offer “leave-the-line” medical access for treatment in the U.S. and abroad, it does not provide the 24/7/365 travel assistance needed when unexpected events occur while travelling. ORION Executive Travel Protection fills this gap by supporting travellers and their loved ones during unexpected medical emergencies, with enhanced coverage beyond traditional group travel insurance.
